Happy Thanksgiving!

We hosted the Nobles family for Thanksgiving this year. Will was in awe of cousin Jack and Jamie. Jack is used to a little kid following him around, but I think it was new for Jamie. He is just a little older than Will.

We are relaxing from the week between Will's birthday and Thanksgiving. It has been pretty hectic, but we'll get some new pics up soon.

We did not take any pictures at the party; we were too busy! We shot some video, but I do not know if we can get it up here. We are relying on people to email us some pictures they took.

Thanks to all the family and friends who made it to the party. Will had a great time! I hope everyone took some pizza and cupcakes home, there was so much food!

Will got a lot of toys and books for his birthday. It is hard to believe we have Christmas coming so soon. I can't imagine what more he will get or where we will put it all! Books would probably be the easiest to deal with, and he just loves them right now, especially anything where mom and dad make sounds(animals, vehicles, etc.).

Happy Holidays everyone!

Happy First Birthday!

Today is Will's first birthday!

We had his one year doctor visit and he is still tracking at basically the same percentiles as his last visit: 99% for height, 73% for weight and 90% for head circumference.

We got Will the rocking moose that he loved so much at the store the other day. He was really excited to get on it again. He was like an old pro on a bull, one hand flying around next to his head to keep balance.

We are only having a small birthday party this year, with some friends his age and his grandparents and his aunts and uncles this weekend. We will have something bigger for future birthdays with more guests, but it could be a little overwhelming for him this year.

Thanks to everyone for understanding!

Our little Canuck!

Will is half Canadian, and his Great Grandmother in Saskatoon sent us this cute little hat. It has been a bit colder out lately, so Will is wearing it a lot.

We even thought about buying this rocking moose!

William Walks!

Here are some videos of William's new found talent!

One Million visitors to date?

<- The automatic counter feature can't be right... can it? It must be all those Phillipino lottery spammers?

Anyways, William's first birthday is fast approaching and he started walking today!

Only one person guessed 11 month in the poll. We sure thought it would be sooner since he seemed so close to the breakthrough. He has been walking around pretty well just holding Mom or Dad's finger, but now he has the confidence to go it alone!

Video will be up soon.

Cycle Cross Race

Will got to watch another bike race today! This one was a wet and muddy cycle cross race. We had warm belgian waffles from Josh at Cyclo-sportif while we watched. Will was amazed by all of the bikes, dogs, and geese zipping around.

There was even a drum regiment there. They were loud, but fun to watch from afar. Will really liked to walk around in the mud. He is ready to walk on his own, but he insists on holding Mom or Dad's hand still. We were excited to meet Matt, Liatt, and Jonah there. They go to all the cross races, but Jonah was still sleeping from the cozy car ride there. Car rides put Will to sleep too. We had so much fun that we are planning to watch the race next week as well.

Halloween Follow-up

Will had a good halloween. He wore his doggie costume we bought last halloween. There are great deals on kids costumes the day after Halloween.
